Insomnia = S X 3.14

It's been six days without any real sleep. I'm starting to really get annoyed,...And I'm starting to see things. Tonight I swear I saw a large bat hanging in my room. I asked it to fuck off and it did. It's like I'm not ever really asleep or really awake. I really don't know what's causing this...But I can't make my brain shut up long enough to pass out. I will get tired enough and lay down, but if I don't knock out in 30 min or so, I'm not going to for another seven or eight hours.

The worst part of this is being bored. I can only play so much online and watch so much TV. I used to read to go to sleep in the past, but I now seen intent on finishing the book that night. I can't put it down. I read deception point by Dan brown in 14 hours non stop. I can go drinking and I'll be stay awake long enough to sober up, which is really shitty. I went though 30 ambein in the last 8 days. I logged about 18 hours sleep in that time. And fucking abein costs 127.00$ a fill!

I'm calling into work today and maybe tomorrow also. I don't care if they fire me. That job is stress central, besides that, no one else is dumb enough not to have quit by now. They can't keep anyone in my spot longer the two days before they quit, so I'm not worried too much.

Other than that things are going well. I got my new sound system installed in my truck and it is badass. Two new 6x9's, one 12'' sub and some new in-dash speakers, all pioneer. It really sounds great. It's the first subwoofer I've ever owned, So I feek like I fuckin 16 yro blasting anything I can find with high bass in it.

Jenn is back from med school and is here now. She drove up last night and is camping here for a few days. It's good to see her. She says she's not going back to the DR due to it being a waste of time and money. I don't blame her.

Scott and I have gotten in some really great dives in the last few month's. We went to devils den and back to Ginnie for the Spruce Creek Scuba thanksgiving day thingy. Acutually funny story there.

The last time scott and I went to Ginnie springs we actually missed a diveable spring due to all the tubers and swimmers in the water. So this time we made a point to get to that one. I was out in the Santa Fe river and it was beautiful. It's entrance is a large Ovid with a fallen tree much like blue springs. We went down past the log and over to the cave entrance. It was a medium size opening, about five feet high and maybe six wide and the current was ripping out of there. I got past the current and into the mouth and flipped on my dive light just for a quick peek.

The cave opened into two large passage ways. The one to the left stopped in about 15 Ft and the other went into the devils cave system. I hovered there for a min or so when I saw a light coming from way back off the the right. I shut off my dive light knowing that I wasn't supposed to have it there and watched for a sec. I could barley see two cave guys returning from the right. So I decided to exit. I swam slow out of the mouth and then turned, wanting to watch them exit. It is times like this that I really wish I had full face mask with intercom, cause I saw scott coming down to pass me. I don't think he cared if there was anyone else there, but I would have liked to have given him more warning. I don't think it would have mattered.

Anyway he goes into the mouth of the cave and maybe 5 or six feet past the entrance, Well within the ambient light rule. As the two cave divers came to the entrance, one of them goes over to scott and starts making really angry hand signals to him. I can't see from where I am and what it looks like to me, believe it or not, is the scott is now in a fist fight with this guy. I draw my dive knife and swim down to the entrance as fast and I can, only to find the cave diver scolding scott with hand signals. I sheath my knife and watch as the cave guy motions scott to the surface. He begins his accent and I follow. We make safety stop at 15 Ft and then surface. Scott and then first cave guy surface first and me and the cave guys buddy come up a min or so later. I then thought that we really were going to get into a knife fight. This pompous asshole was screaming at scott, telling him that he had no right to be there and that open water divers die there and was really going on and on...Like this was his fucking river and his spring and how dare dare we piss in his water. Scott, for the life of him, remained cool. And scott does not suffer fools easily. With more patience then the dahlia lama himself, scott calmly explained to the guy ( during the brief moments between scolding) that he was not and open water diver, that he was well within the ambient light rule, that this was not his personal playground, but the guy was not to be dissuaded, he kept going on and on and once he began to repeat himself , scott had to get slight louder saying " fuck man I got it! " He looked like he was going to keep going but I also said " We heard you the first six times fucko" We let it lie, which was a mistake because although scott is able to forget fools like him. I became more angry as the day went on. By the time I left I wanted to find the guy and take him at knife point to the middle of the river and hold his arrogant fucking head under till the bubbles stopped. Next time any fucking prick son of a bitch diver tries to correct me or scott anywhere, I'm going to knife him on the spot. No more waiting to hear the story of blah blah blah... And its really dangerous. I know it's fucking dangerous and its my choice asshole. If I want to risk my life..Its my life to risk.

Anyway, it was a great dive.
